Ask Your Team For Content With Shout-Outs

Shout outs are a great way to notify your team of any content you would like to push to your website or social media profiles – either urgently or for a planned campaign. For example: on #NationalCakeDay if you want to show your team enjoying a nice slice of Victoria sponge, let them know!

How to Send A Shout-Out


  1. Go to the ‘Team’ tab on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
  2. You will see the ‘Your Team’ tab. Select ‘Shout-Outs’
  3. Choose your send date and time.
  4. Select the interval. This will decide whether it’s a “one-off” event or a regularly occurring request e.g. #MondayMotivation.
  5. Write your subject line and include tags to target specific departments or projects. Find out more about Team Tags here.
  6. Write your message for the shout-out.
  7. To send, click ‘Add Shout-Out’.

View Your Shout-Outs

At the top of the page, you can view the shout-outs that have been sent and scheduled. You can also see how many people will receive these shout-outs, based on whether their email addresses have been verified. If you don’t know how to verify a team member, find out more here.


When viewing your shout-outs, you will see:

  • Subject
  • Interval
  • Target Tags
  • Number of Recipients
  • Date Created
  • Last Send Date
  • Next Send Date

You can preview what the message will look like by selecting the magnifying glass. To delete the shout-out, select the trash can icon.
